File Previews
EasySend generates previews for common file types on the download page. Images display as thumbnails that can be viewed in a full-screen lightbox. Video files show a player with playback controls. Other file types display an icon based on the file extension so recipients can identify what they are downloading.
Size Limits by File Type
All file types share the same size limits. There is no special treatment for video vs documents vs archives. The free tier supports files up to 1GB each. Premium supports files up to 10GB each. You can upload multiple files of different types into a single bundle.
Sharing Files Safely
For sensitive file types like financial documents, medical records, legal contracts or personal photos, enable end-to-end encryption before uploading. The encryption works on all file types and adds zero-knowledge protection that prevents anyone, including EasySend, from accessing your data.
Developer File Types
Developers frequently use EasySend to share build artifacts, database dumps, log files and configuration files. The API supports all file types programmatically. The CLI tool and MCP plugin handle any file your terminal or AI assistant can access.
