How do I share files with the EasySend Raycast extension?

Install the EasySend extension from the Raycast Store, select files on your Mac and share them instantly. The extension wraps the EasySend API for quick uploads.

The EasySend Raycast extension lets you share files directly from your Mac without opening a browser. It wraps the EasySend API into a native Raycast command, so uploads happen in seconds from your keyboard.

Installing the Extension

Open the Raycast Store by launching Raycast and typing "Store" into the search bar. Search for "EasySend" and click Install. The extension appears in your command list immediately. No API key is needed for free-tier uploads. If you have a Premium account, you can enter your upload token in the extension settings to unlock 10GB uploads and permanent storage.

Sharing Files

There are two ways to share files with the extension. The first is to open Raycast, type "Share via EasySend" and pick files from the file picker. The second is to select one or more files in Finder, open Raycast and run the command. The extension detects your Finder selection automatically. Either way, your files upload to EasySend and you get a shareable link copied to your clipboard.

Bundles and Multiple Files

When you select multiple files, the extension bundles them into a single share link. Recipients download all files from one page. This works the same way as dragging multiple files onto the EasySend website. Each file can be up to 1GB on the free tier or 10GB on Premium.

How It Works Under the Hood

The extension calls the EasySend REST API directly. Files are chunked into 5MB segments and uploaded in parallel. Progress shows in the Raycast HUD. Once the upload finishes, the extension copies the download URL and shows a notification. If you have encryption enabled in your settings, files are encrypted locally before upload.
