How long do shared files last on EasySend?
Free uploads last 3 days. Extend to 30 days for $0.99. Premium ($1.99/month) and Lifetime ($4.99) give permanent storage.
File availability on EasySend depends on your plan:
- Free tier - files are available for 3 days (72 hours) from upload. After that, they are automatically and permanently deleted from storage.
- 30-day extension ($0.99) - extends a single upload to 30 days. One-time payment, no subscription.
- Premium ($1.99/month or $19.99/year) - all uploads get permanent storage. Files never expire unless you delete them.
- Lifetime ($4.99 one-time) - 1GB of permanent storage with no recurring fees.
Why Files Expire
Automatic deletion is a deliberate security feature. Files that sit on servers indefinitely create cumulative risk. Each expired file is one less potential exposure point. For most file sharing scenarios, 3 days is enough time for the recipient to download.
Expiry Warnings
If you provided a notification email during upload, EasySend sends a warning before your files expire. This gives you time to extend the upload or download your own copy if needed.
