Protect Intellectual Property When Sharing Files

March 17, 2026 - EasySend Team

Designs, source code, business plans and trade secrets are valuable intellectual property. Sharing them without encryption is like mailing cash in a clear envelope.

How to Protect IP During Transfer

  1. Enable end-to-end encryption before uploading
  2. Set a strong password (12+ characters)
  3. Use auto-expiry so files do not persist after review
  4. Track downloads to know exactly who accessed the files
  5. Share the password via phone call (separate channel)
