Minimal analytics
EasySend uses Google Analytics for basic traffic metrics and Microsoft Clarity for UX improvements. We do not use advertising trackers, do not sell data and do not build user profiles. We do not track you across the web. We do not use browser fingerprinting or retargeting pixels.
No cookies
EasySend does not set any cookies, with one exception: if you make a payment, Stripe (our payment processor) may set cookies required to process the transaction securely. We have no control over Stripe's cookies.
Zero-knowledge encryption
When you enable encryption on a file upload, your files are encrypted entirely in your browser before they ever reach our servers. The encryption key is derived from your password and never leaves your device. We cannot read, decrypt or access your encrypted files. If you lose your password, the files are unrecoverable.
File retention
Free uploads are stored for 3 days and then permanently deleted. Paid uploads may have extended retention periods as specified at the time of purchase. Once a file expires, it is deleted from our servers and cannot be recovered.
We don't sell data
We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise share your data with anyone. Ever. There is no business model here that depends on your personal information.
We don't read your files
We do not access, read, scan or analyze the content of your files. Encrypted files are technically impossible for us to read. Unencrypted files are stored as-is and served only to those with the share link.
Third parties
We use a minimal set of third-party services:
Stripe processes payments. Their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Our hosting and CDN infrastructure providers have their own privacy policies.
