We built EasySend because we were tired of file sharing services that demanded an email address before letting us do anything. Our free tier is not a teaser or a bait-and-switch. It is a fully functional file sharing tool that covers most everyday needs without asking you to hand over personal information.

With the free plan you get uploads up to 1GB per file, a shareable download link that stays active for 48 hours, basic download tracking so you know when your recipient grabbed the file and access to our web uploader from any browser on any device. There are no watermarks, no forced branding and no ads injected into your download pages.

We do not throttle upload or download speeds on the free tier. Your files transfer at whatever speed your internet connection supports. We use chunked uploads so large files are resilient to brief network interruptions and you can watch progress in real time.

How It Works

The process takes about 10 seconds from start to finish. You visit our homepage, drop a file onto the upload area (or click to browse), wait for the upload to complete and then copy the generated link. That link can be sent through any channel you like - text message, email, Slack, Discord or anything else. The person on the other end clicks the link and downloads the file directly. They do not need an EasySend account either.

Behind the scenes we store your file on encrypted cloud storage with redundancy across multiple data centers. When the 48-hour window expires on the free plan the file is permanently deleted from our servers. We do not keep copies and we do not scan file contents for advertising purposes.

Supported File Types

We accept virtually every file type. Documents, photos, videos, archives, design files, audio recordings - if your operating system can produce it then EasySend can transfer it. The only restrictions involve files that violate our terms of service such as malware or illegal content.

How We Compare to Paid Services

Most file sharing services offer a free tier that functions as a demo. WeTransfer's free plan caps you at 2GB but requires an email address from both sender and recipient. Dropbox gives you 2GB of total storage but expects you to create an account and install their app. Google Drive offers 15GB but ties everything to a Google account and scans your files for ad targeting.

EasySend takes a different approach. We believe basic file sharing should be genuinely free and genuinely private. No account means no data collection. No email requirement means no spam. Pricing Tiers

While the free tier handles most casual file sharing needs, we offer paid plans for people who need more capacity or longer retention.

Our Plus plan at $1.99 per month increases the file size limit to 5GB, extends link expiration to 30 days and adds password protection for download links. It also includes custom short URLs so your links look professional.

Our Pro plan at $4.99 per month raises the limit to 25GB per file, provides 90-day link expiration, adds API access for automated workflows and includes priority support. Both paid plans are billed monthly with no annual commitment required.
